Bishop Andrew Cahoon,

Dear Brother:--
Sister R. Patten owns the house and land that Mr. Patten bought of br. John Brown in the Amasa Lyman survey. At the time she went to San Bernardino she left said house and land in the care of br. Robert Pierce, and now she wants to be put in possession of her property, and I know of no reason why she should not be allowed to occupy that which is her own
The rent and damages that Sister Patten thinks herself entitled to, I know nothing about, and of course have nothing to write upon that point.
