Br. William B. Maxwell has furnished me a list of names of persons he had spoken to about making a settlement at or near the Soda Springs on Bear River. Upon reflection I have deemed it best to defer making said settlement at present, and have so informed br. Maxwell.

Please give the above information to those in your region who have thought of going to Soda Springs with br. Maxwell, that no one may be disappointed or suffer loss through a premature movement.
