Mr. Peter Schuttler,
Chicago, Illinois,

Dear Sir:-By letter on the 23d. ult. I requested you to make for me 10 twohorse wagons and ship them to Florence, Nebraska Territory, since which time I have concluded to send ox instead of mule teams to the frontiers this season, consequently I hereby countermand my order of the 23 ult., as I shall send from here all the wagons that I shall personally need in this seasons operations. Please be so kind as to oblige me in this matter, and at your earliest convenience, advise me of the receipt of this note.

Since last writing I have learned that Mr. John Y. Green left a note here of $370.00, to be collected and forwarded to you. I will endeavor to cause said note to be collected, and forward the same to you by the first reliable opportunity.

Truly your friend,

Brigham Young
