Dear Brother:-Yours of the 9th is at hand, and as I am not acquainted with you, so far as I can recollect, I wish you to procure recommends from some responsible persons with whom I am acquainted, and call upon me in my Office, with your recommends, in time, in case it should be deemed best for you to go on a mission this season, to enable you to be ready to start with the company some time from the middle of april to the 1st of May.
