Mr. A.P. Jackson,
Thomaston, Upson Co., Georgia,

Sir:-

In compliance with your request of April 26, I inclose you a brief summary of our faith and doctrines, the careful perusal of which will enable you to form some conclusion in relation to our religious views.

The summary, as you will perceive from the "prospectus" on the opposite side of the inclosed clipping, is taken from "The Mormon", a paper published some two years in New York City by Elder John Taylor, one of the Twelve apostles.

Trusting that it may satisfactorily meet your wishes, I am,

Respectfully,

Brigham Young
