Dear bro.,

I understand that there is about 23 acres of land at your place which belongs to the Church. We have been owing bro Daniel James considerable money a good while & would like to let him have that land if there is no impediment in the way of it, on account of our indebtedness to him. If no other disposition has been directed, please sell it to bro James at it's value & report the amount to this office the first opportunity thereafter
