To President Joseph Young and the Presidents of the Seventies in Great Salt Lake City,

Brethren:-I prefer a charge against Israel Evans of Lehi City, Utah County, U.T., for unchristian like conduct toward me, and respectfully request that you will appoint the earliest day, practicable with your convenience, for hearing said charge: and further request that you will summon Alfred Bell, William Show, and <Abraham Lacy Losee> Daniel Thomas Jr., of Heli, and Orin P. Rockwell, of the Hot Springs south of this City, as witnesses.

Your early attention to my foregoing request will much oblige, very respectfully,
