In reference to your note of the 10th inst., it is all right for you to go to the States and your native land, to see your children, relatives, and old friends, if you choose; but should you succeed in obtaining any considerable portion of the property your son writes about, it will be scarcely probable that you will again see this land, there will be so many hindrances to your return.
