Elder Charles Shelton,
Provo, U.T.,

Dear Brother:-At the request of Pres. Kimball I had a conversation with br. Jesse W. Crosby, and at my request br. Crosby furnished to me a written statement of the case you wrote to br. Kimball about, a copy of which statement I herewith inclose.

You will readily perceive that there are wide discrepancies between br. Crosby's statements and yours, but the whole amount in question is not worth making any feelings about between relatives, and especially between members of the same Church and Kingdom.

If br. Crosby's statements do not prove satisfactory to you, your best plan will be to call upon him, some time when you are in this City, and chat the matter over between you, for it concerns no one but yourselves and sisters.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
