The amount of money which will be sent is not yet exactly known, but will not be less than five thousand dollars; will write the amount when we start the money.

You will please purchase according to the bills already furnished you, without diminution in either case, whether you get money from Wm. H. Hooper, or not.

If you are obliged to use credit, buy the same quality of goods, and not be put off with those damaged or shelf worn, but buy fresh or new goods as far as possible, and see that no higher prices are charged on account of a credit being given, than if brought for ready money.

On the arrival of the goods at Florence, being properly marked as before directed, you will turn them over to the care of Nath! V. Jones, or Jacob Gates, who will take charge of them until they are landed up in the wagons and put into the charge of Jos. W. Young. You will see that they are all delivered to one of them, and take his receipt for the same. In packing the boxes the invoices should show what is in each box or bale, and it so marked as to know it; and those invoices you will please to bring with you. The bills, according to our estimates, amount to about $14,000, which of course may vary considerably, as we have calculated the prices from former purchases.
