Sister Sergeant:-

Inclosed please find a letter from br. Dwight Eveleth to me, in which he suggests your forwarding to him a power of Attorney authorizing him to transact business for you in Cal., also the papers you have in relation to your lands there, the doing of which may result in some benefit to you. Should you conclude to forward the power of attorney and other papers, as suggested by br. Eveleth, it will be well to have them ready, by this day week, to forward by the next Cal. mail

Br. John T. Caine, Notary Public, and one of my Clerks, can probably find time to make out a power of Attorney for you.
