Elder H. B. Clawson,
Fort Bridger, U. T.,

Dear Brother:-Br. David O. has not succeeded in raising any money, therefore you need not expect any more money from here.

Col. Howe informed br. Wells, to-day, that the troops of Camp Floyd would all be en-route for the east by to morrow morning, and that they had destroyed at least 80 wagon loads, probably some 160 tons or more, of arms and ammunition. They have burned and otherwise destroyed.

Your family and friends are all well. No new event of importance to advise you of. Be sure and come home when you get through, at all times keeping a good look out.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
