Your letter of July 12th was received on the 12th inst.
I have drawn upon you draft No 199 for £311.8.4. in favor of Livingston, Bell & Co.,; draft No 200, for £22.11.10, favor of A. H. Raleigh; draft No 201, for £202.17.8, favor of W. A. Carter; draft No 202 for £1252.18.0 favor of N. S. Ransohoff; draft No 203 for £835.5.4 favor of N. S. Ransohoff; draft No 203 for £835.4.4 favor of N. S. Ransohoff; draft No 204, for £104.8.2, favor of N. S. Ransohoff; draft No 205 favor of N. S. Ransohoff. £105.9.3-
The £500.0.0 you remitted to N. V. Jones on this years emigration account has not been used by him. He has handed me Guion & Co. bill of exchange for the amount, you will therefore credit him with that amount and charge to my deposit account.
On the 17th January I drew upon you draft No 184 for £30.0.0 favor of Catherine Robinson. The first of exchange was forwarded to her by mail, but has not been received by her, and it is supposed that it has been extracted from the mail. You will please inform her whether or not the draft has been presented to you for payment, her address is Catherine Robinson, at S. Howes, 3rd house Shaws buildings, Steam Clock, Sherbourn Street, Birmingham.
On the 31st May you advised me that you had drawn £1701.6.4 1/2 from the deposits made by persons towards their emigration to pay some of the drafts I had drawn upon you. You will now please refund that amount by drawing from my deposit of £6704.6.5. The following will be the state of my deposit account when you charge it with my drafts upon you, drawn subsequent to those paid from the emigrants deposits.
