Dear Jon:-

Your letters from Camp Floyd and Rush Valley came safe to hand,
and I was pleased to learn that yourself and company were getting along so
prosperously.

I do not wish you to take any poles further than you were instructed when you left
here, as no arrangements have been made for us to deliver poles beyond Deep Creek.
As previously advised, I wish you to see that the poles are unloaded as near the
holes as may be reasonably convenient, for that will greatly facilitate the labors of those
putting them up.

Tomorrow (28th) one or two mule teams will start to you with grain, and I will
send by them a keg to Mr. Carson, for the one you borrowed. The grain mule teams
starting to-morrow will turn in and help you with the poles until the job is done.
Toward the last of this week I expect to start another ox-train of some 10 wagons
with poles, and trust yourself, company, and teams will be prospered in the completion
of the job to the satisfaction of all concerned. All well.
