Bishop William S. Warren,
Parowan, U. T.,

Dear Brother:-

By your note of the 14th inst. I was pleased to learn that the brethren in your Ward were waking up the idea of individually trying to assist their friends to immigrate, and to aid them in carrying out so laudable a desire we will receive stock at fair prices, whenever we are so situated as to be able to do so. You are aware that from Liverpool to Florence money is the only article that will answer the purpose, and at present I am unable to say whether or not we will be able to take stock in payment for next years immigration; I shall probably be able to determine this point in time for next season's operations, say in December or January next.

Lest we should still be short of money to advance or pay for stock, or not have so much use for stock as for money, it will be best for such as desire to assist their friends to watch opportunities to turn their stock, &c. into money, to the amounts they wish to assist, and forward the money to this Office, when the Liverpool Office will at once be advised to apply those amounts as wished by the persons depositing them here.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
