In reply to your favor of the 8th. ult. I have to inform you that a Mr. John P. Barnard lives some 70 miles north of this City, and I presume he is the person whose address
you wish to learn. Doubtless a letter addressed to him, either, Farmington, Davis County, Utah Territory, or, Brigham City, Box Elder County, Utah Territory, will reach him, if mail and post office accidently do not prevent.

He was well, the last time I heard of him. I am not informed in relation to the amount
and kinds of his property, but think he is quite comfortably circumstanced as to means.
