Dear Brother:

You are hereby authorized and desired to take full charge of my Farm, and of my portion of the Stone Quarry in Manti; Said portion of Quarry situate and being the whole of the stone quarry north of the north line of the city lots and running from the west front of said quarry due East to the main mountain, to hold the same for my use and benefit as you may hereafter be from time to time directed.

You will also ascertain as near as possible who have taken stone from my said portion of the Quarry, and the amount, and when so ascertained, you are authorized to collect from each and every such person 25 c per perch for all rock so taken.

Which amounts when so collected you may use for the benefit of the poor, in your City.
