Dear Brother:

In my letter to you, Oct. 11, I accidentally omitted to say anything about sending Missionaries to your assistance, and write these few lines so soon as the omission occurred to me.

It costs quite a sum in money to go back and forth, and, after carefully considering the subject in its bearings at home and abroad, we have concluded it best not to send any Elders from here this Fall, therefore it will devolve upon you to do the best you can with the help you now have and may be able to raise in the field of your Presidency.

The remainder of the immigrating companies and returning trains are all expected to arrive this week, except the freight train, which will also arrive in good time.

The weather continues very pleasant, and all is well.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
