In relation to the child which br. Charles Bassett came and took from you, so far as I at present understand the matter, it will be best to let the child remain with the father for a time, or at least until the late excitement at your place has somewhat subsided.

I hope you will faithfully and perseveringly carry out all your good promises and intentions, and prove worthy the confidence of all good people, that you may share in the blessings and privileges enjoyed and in store for the faithful.
