Dear Brother:

In relation to the forty head of cattle you mention as being donated to the P. E. Fund, it will be best at once, if possible, or at your very earliest convenience, to drive to this City such of said cattle, if any, as would upon their arrival here be suitable for beef; also the new milch cows and such as are about to come in soon, if there are any of those kinds; and put the rest into some good, safe place, and in charge of some careful, responsible person for the coming Winter, that none may die or be lost through carelessness or neglect.
