Dear Brother:
 

I have advised the bearer of this note, br. Hawkins of your Ward, to take home with him and take care of an old blind sister in the Church, named Hobbs. As br Hawkins says he has a large family which require nearly all his efforts and means to comfortably provide for, I wish you, as Bishop, to assist him in providing for the old lady to the extent your judgement and the circumstances may dictate.

Please keep a correct amount of the assistance you thus render, return it with your customary report to the G. T. Office in this City and oblige,
