Dear Brother:

I cordially approbate the plan you propose in your letter of the 31st ult., thinking, as you remark, that the climate in our "Dixie" will be better for your health; and feeling assured that you can easily win a comfortable livelihood by ginning cotton, making castor oil, &c., especially if you will also take early steps to introduce olive trees and produce pure olive oil.

The scarcity of paper and other circumstances render it unadvisable to do anything, at present, about publishing A paper in that region.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
