Dear Brother:-

Last evening I had some conversation with the Mr. Jenkins who joined Morris, and now wishes to be baptized. Under the circumstances I have no objection to his being baptized in accordance with his wishes.

Please inform br. Morgan Jinkins that I have placed his family on the list to be aided if the funds at Liverpool will admit, but money is very scarce with us, and only money will answer from Liverpool to Florence, for which reason it is very doubtful whether br. Cannon will be able to furnish the aid wished.

Your Brother in the Gospel,
Brigham Young
