Bs. John Eyre.
Parowan, Iron County. U. T.

As requested by bs. George Eyre, I write to inform you that the name of your father mother and two brothers have been forwarded to bs. Cannon, with instructions for him to assist them to emigrate this season, if the means on hand will warrant. Nothing but money will answer from Liverpool to Florence, and money is very scarce with us, for which reason it is very doubtful what he may be able to do in the case.

If the brethren would turn their stock, &c. into money in season, and furnish me the money, I could then send in the full amount furnished, and with A certainty that the matter would be attended to.

Stock is not money, neither have we the money to pay for stock.

Should bs. Cannon aid your relations to emigrate this season, upon being so advised I shall expect you to pay me in money the amount it may cost to land them in Florence, that my hands may be loosed to help others in like condition.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
