Elder H. Gibbs

Dear Brother:

In reply to your note of the 20th inst., I have to inform you that I will furnish the materials and finish your house on condition that when it is finished, and on presentation of the bills for materials, labor, &c., expended thereon, you give me your obligation with a lien on the house that at or before the expiration of five years you will pay me the amount I expend upon the building, with ten per cent. interest on that amount from date of said obligation, conditioned that if not so paid you will either deed the house to the Trustee in Trust, or let it be sold in such manner that I may receive pay fo the amount expended and interest thereon as above specified
