Dear Brother:

Brother Oren Jefferds has just presented me an order for payment, drawn by you upon the Trustee in Trust for $72.00 which he desired paid in a yoke of cattle or wagon. On referring to your account I find a balance due you of $162.73 in labor tithing. Now, instead of requiring me to pay cattle or wagons on that a/c, I wish you to be prepared with a good mule team, wagon and man to commence hauling for the temple so soon as the season opens for labor, and continue hauling until the temple is finished-- you bearing all the expense.
