In reply to your note of even date, I have to inform you that I think we can furnish you the number of horses you mention, and I presume at satisfactory prices.

The horses in question are mostly unbroken, but are of sterling quality. Mr. Briant Stringham, the bearer of this note, is autherized to trade with you, as above named, as he and you may agree.
