Dear Brother:

We have not enough wheat in the southern settlements to accomodate br. Tidwell and others; in fact I am of opinion that we have already agreed to exchange and otherwise disposed of more wheat than we at present have there.

We were much gratified to learn of the prompt response to Bishop Hunter's call for teams for Florence, for prompt and cheerful <efforts> for gathering Isreal will be blest with rich rewards.

Here, as you write is the case in your Valley, affairs are progress in their customary peaceful channel.
