Dear Brother.

In regard to furnishing cards for the machine at your place, please inform br's Simkins and Walker that it is our wish and practice to aid all in our power in every laudable and useful undertaking, but that I, like them, have not near Money enough to accomplish what I could wish, and, as only money will answer their request, I am not able to accomodate them

I was pleased to learn that you and your Ward were so prompt in filling the requisition upon you for teams to go Florence, and that you enjoyed so good a spirit and prosperous condition.

Affairs here are progressing peacefully and prosperously.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
