Dear Brother:-

In regard to the lengths and breadths of the Organ lumber that you say are difficult to obtain "nearly or quite clear," I have to inform you that I wish the bill filled as specified therein, for if it is not all entirely clear we can cut out the knots and stop the holes easier and to a better advantage than we could manage any alteration in length or width.

Please learn whether the kind and quality of lumber required can be procured at Beaver, if so it will be best to get it there, as it will save some 30 miles hauling.

Your Brother in the Gospel

Brigham Young
