Dear Brother:
I thank you for communicating to me alone the information contained in your letters of June 25 and 27, for in so doing you have done right. After the nation has so weakened itself that the righteous can have power and opportunity to more fully carry out various requirements, then we shall be privileged to avail ourselves of certain facilities that it is not now prudent nor wise to handle.

For this reason please keep the information you have communicated to me strictly and exclusively to yourself, saying nothing about it to any one, until you have advice from me to do otherwise, and in so doing not only benefit Israel but also

oblige your Brother in the Gospel

Brigham Young
