Dear Brother:-

Your note of the 27th inst. is at hand. What I wish in the case of Sister Grace McMaster is for you to correctly learn her circumstances, whether she has any property, who brought her into the Ward, and whether she has any relatives living in this Territory. If, after obtaining the aforenamed information, you find that she is a person rightfully dependent upon the Church, I wish you to lay her case before the Bishops and ask them to assign her to the care of some Bishop to see that her reasonable wants are provided for so far as consistent.
