Brother E. W. Van Ettan:-Learning from your letters to her some of the history of your course and feelings in regard to your wife that was formerly Mrs Andrus, I have come to the conclusion that it is but right, and will be best for all parties, for you to render her such assistance as she may need from time to time, which will not be a large amount, for in so doing you will be doing good for which your reward is sure; and you are aware that the more good we do, even to our neighbors, the greater will be our reward.

Your acting in this matter in accordance with the foregoing advice will not only be doing a good act, but will also oblige,
