To Lewis Robison
Dear bro:

You will please take charge of the company that is going out with you, and go till you meet the last of our emigrant trains, and see as to their condition, and if they stand in need of any aid, in tents, or provisions, will promptly report the same to me; also as to the condition of their cattle.

If you or any of your company are successful in discovering any gold or mineral mines, you will please to say nothing to any one about it, till I am informed.

Yours in the bonds of the New and Everlasting Covenant,

Brigham Young
