Dear Brother:--

Upon mature reflection I deem it wisdom to change the tone and policy of the "Deseret News.," and realizing that your health and other important duties will not admit of your giving to its columns that amount of personal attention  which its interests demand, I have decided to have bro. A. Carrington take entire charge of the office, calling to his aid such help as may be deemed necessary. Accordingly you will please close your labors on the News with the past issue, and turn the whole business, office, accounts and books and hands over to bro. Carrington immediately.
