Dear Brother:-

I have from five to ten thousand apple trees that I can part with to the brethren in our Southern settlements, if they wish to purchase them. Next spring the trees will be two years old from the seed, and during the past season they were all brided or grafted with choice varieties.

Those who wish to purchase can have the trees for $25 A hundred, if they will come here and take them where they are growing, or I will forward them to your place for $75 A hundred. In payment I will take cotton and such other good pay available to me here as they can make.

Please inform the brethren in regard to the trees, as above, at your earliest convenience, and by the first return mail thereafter advise me how many they will want, specifying the number they wish to take here and the number they wish forwarded, also the kinds of good pay they proffer, and oblige
