Dear Brother:-

In reply to your note of the 22nd ult. I have to inform you that as yet I have no definite knowledge in regard to our immigration next spring, but presume there will be no interruption. In that case I will send for <the> persons you mention, provided you deliver to me in this City, this Fall and the coming winter, cotton to the amount of their passages from Liverpool to this place, which will be somewhere about four hundred and eighty dollars, ($480), owing to increased rates of fare across the ocean and on railroad to Florence.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
