Dear Brother:-Your letter from Provo is at hand, and in reflecting upon it and the great number of the poor widows, orphans, missionarie's families, and others we have to assist, and viewing the comparatively small amount of means we have for supplying so many pressing wants, I have thought it best, before taking action in your case, to ask you to call and see me, if convenient, that upon conversing with you I may better able to determine what, within my ability, should be done towards assisting you.
