Dear Bretheren:

I have perused your letter of the 28th inst., and under all the circumstances connected with the question I think, were the stock mine, I should prefer driving them to near the mouth of Chicken Creek, or perhaps, better still into Parowan valley, maybe near the Sink of Beaver. I think you can find sufficient grass on the route, if you keep the lowest road from Willow Creek to br. H. C. Haight's, from here to the west side of Jordan, crossing that river at the first ford above its mouth, if not too high, and thence up its west bank and along the west side of Utah Lake.

Use your best efforts for retaining in your valley at least five bushels of wheat to the person, besides your seed, learning at the earliest practicable date, how many persons and how much wheat you have.

If you know of any person or persons in your valley who have pure club head wheat, I would like to buy or exchange fifty bushels. Please inform me, as soon as you can learn, also whether they prefer selling or exchanging

You are at liberty, at your pleasure, to extend to other settlements the same privilege you have to Wellsville, Hyrum and Mandon
