Mr Joseph Henderson,
care of Company I, 11th Regiment P. R. V. C.,
Washington City D. C.

Sir:

Your favor of October 27 came safely to hand, and I have to inform you that, in case you should still desire to come here after you time expires, your best plan will be to make your way to Florence, Nebraska Territory, nearly opposite Council Bluffs City, on or before the 1st of July next, where you will find our next season's immigration organizing for crossing the plains, when you can if you choose, travel with them.

In regard to our faith, manners, customs, &c., and as to how far they may suit your views and desires, you can learn and determine after your arrival here, better than in any other manner at present within your reach.

For the permission seeds you were so kind as to send me, please accept the thanks of,

Respectfully,

Brigham Young
