in reply to your note of the 2nd inst., but lately came to hand, I have to inform you that if you donated the L10 to the P. E. Fund, it must so remain and be applied and used as other means of the Fund, and not at the dictation of the doner, for such a course would destroy the Fund.

If on the other hand, you have L10 to your credit in the Liverpool Office, as a deposit, it can be applied to the imigration of your daughter.

Of course I cannot advise President Cannon on the subject, until I know whether the L10 is a donation or a deposit. If it is a donation, it must be used, as already stated, in the same channel as other means of that Fund.
