Dear Brother:

In regard to your letter of the 10th inst., with inclosure, I have to inform you that if the party or parties you mention will deliver good work cattle or good milch cows to me in this City on or before the 20th of April next, in time for use in the trains that will start to Florence about that time, I will send for their relations to the amount of the good work cattle and cows so furnished. This is the best proffer so far as I know, that the present condition of our means at home and abroad will admit.
