Dear Brother:

In reply to your note of the 8th inst. I have to advise you that you by all means use your best efforts to keep things dark, and exercise faith enough to prevent others finding anything.

Should the Lord, in his wisdom, at any future time permit a discovery, I will then give you such further counsel on the subject as the circumstances may require. It is better to be poor than to be distroyed.
