Dear Brother:

In reply to your note of the 19th inst., I have to inform you that I will take cotton for emigrating A person from Liverpool to Florence, at the rate of fifty (50) cents a pound in "Greenbacks" for cotton delivered at my mill near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canon, a short distance south east of this City. The estimate for an adult this year to Florence is fifty six dollars ($56) in Greenbacks, which is equal to 112 pounds of cotton delivered at my mill at the rate above stated. If the price to Florence proves to be overestimated you will be entitled to a drawback on the 112 pounds, and if it be too low I shall expect you to pay the difference in cotton, or "greenbacks" Should these terms suit you, it will be necessary for you to at once forward the name and address of the person you wish sent for, that I may advise the Liverpool Office before it is too late for this season.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
