Mr Ben Holladay has just informed us that he does not want all the grain he at first indicated, consequently we cannot take any more than what we have already paid for in Cache Valley viz . 9950 $ pd to you by A. M. Musser & 2000.$ pd to Bp Ames on your order 11950$ which is equal to 3983 1/3 Bu. of Oats add to this 2016 2/3 of T. grain the quantity 6000 needed is arrived at. We tried to persuade Holladay to take more in Cache but owing to his having bought some 3000 Bushels himself & the difficulty to get grain freighted he thinks he cannot.
