Dear Brother,

Having been informed by Elders Geo. A. Smith, Wilford Woodruff and Geo Q.
Cannon of the result of their investigation of the difficulty which has occurred between yourself and your wife Alice I have concluded that you had better give her a Bill of Divorce, according to her wish.

Further particulars respecting the matter can be given you verbally when you both come up to sign the Bill.
