Your favor of the 25th instant requesting an Engagement at the Theatre as Performer and Preceptor, or, in either of those capacities, came duly to hand.

I have referred the matter to Messrs. H. B. Clawson and J. T. Caine, whom you probably can make it convenient to see at the Theatre, and who will be able to make every necessary explanation on the subject.
