Elder Octave Ursenbach,

Dear Brother,

Your favor giving a description of the silk--worm cultivation, mulberry trees, &c., came duly to hand, and was perused with much interest

My feelings are, that if you wish to do good, your better course will be to stay here, and cultivate the worm here, and do all that you can to develop this business of silk cultivation. This will be better than for you to go to Europe.

I remain
Your Brother in the Lord,

Brigham Young
