Artimus Millet
Shuneburg,

Dear Brother:-

Your letter of the 2nd inst., on the subject of your son Joseph Millet being called to go down to where you are, has been received. I read it to Bro. Orson Hyde, and he says that he never prevented your son from joining you, and did not threaten to cut him off from the Church, if he went. I have written to Joseph and called him to go to the Cotton country. He will probably move there as soon as he can this coming Spring, and you should prepare for him, that when he gets down there he may be able to raise a crop.

I remain Your Brother,

Brigham Young
