Dear Brother:
 

Your letter of Jan. 28th has been received. Whatever you may do we are willing to do; but we are short of means and cannot send for the poor saints as our sympathies would prompt us to do. Your provisions might be brought to the City now in time for you to send the money to assist them; and that will be the better course for you to take.
